Virginia Trip!
Hazel and Delyse flew with Grandma Jill to visit cousins and take care of Bentley while Les and Em were in the hospital for Khiara's birth. Yay for babies! She is a doll! We had a great time even with getting snowed in twice! We spent time with the Kartchners and the Caspers! what fun! We sure love and miss these guys!

The Money (and time) Pit
We are homeowners!! Yay! Of course we've only had 2 mortgage payments so far! (: ha. But WE LOVE it!
After putting in numerous bids on homes near Dane's work and getting out bid each time, we happened upon a foreclosure in the Selches' neighborhood, and to our delight it is now ours.
We moved out of the playroom-thank you again Hardys!!- and into our lovely abode about one month (filled with ever-so-much sweat and elbow grease) after we were given keys and 10 hours after we had one fully functioning bathroom (smiles).
We had to clean; fix leaky pipes, faucets, sinks, roof tiles; knock out a wall; re-texture the other walls; tear out carpet; clean; put in new carpet; patch tubs; paint every paintable surface(I never thought the painting would end-thank you selches!!); put in lights/ceiling fans-Dane is so proud that we did them our selves, we're learning to be handy; find new working appliances; clean, clean, clean, and oh, did I mention clean (:
We still have more to do and fix, but we've been informed that from now on we will always have more to do and fix. Today I'm just excited that we are down to only 5 or 6 boxes to unpack-mostly books- and tonight we finally have some blinds in the front room! yay! only 2/3 of the windows left! hah!
Really we just feel so blessed and grateful.
Thanks you soooooo much to everyone who has helped! You are wonderful and we love you!!!
(Thanks Grandma Beverly for reminding us to post pictures- sorry they're not the best for now)
loves to all.

Yip-"pee"
We purchased a little "toilet" for Hazel last week- not that we're expecting her to be potty-trained anytime soon, ha! She's super smart but not even 17 months old. It's asking a little too much. But we put her on it every so often anyway, she likes sitting there and we hope she'll get the idea sometime. So last night after we finished swimming, I sat hazel down on the potty hoping she'd stay there long enough for me to wrestle a new diaper out of the pack and grab some pj's. "go potty" I said when I got back, AND she DID! We cant believe it! what a kick!

1 is fun!
Party! Party! Party! Hazel had 2; a Pink Pizza Party (one of her favorite foods)with the Hardy's and a Dia-Hazel party (both have birthday's in the same week) at the Selches. Both were wonderful because of the people we were with. We can't believe she's one! Oh, how time flys!
